What We Do

RedditList is a Reddit subreddit analytics platform that tracks over 106,000 active subreddit communities. We provide real-time rankings by subscriber count, weekly growth rate, and engagement metrics to help content creators, marketers, and Reddit enthusiasts discover and analyze communities.

Our Data

We crawl Reddit's public API to collect subscriber counts, posting activity, upvote averages, comment volumes, and growth trends for every tracked subreddit. Our data is refreshed regularly to ensure accuracy. Each subreddit page includes:

• Subscriber count — current total members
• Average upvotes and comments — per-post engagement metrics
• Best posting times — heatmap analysis of when posts get the most engagement (UTC)
• Subscriber growth chart — historical trend of membership over time
• Related subreddits — communities in the same category

Methodology

Our posting time heatmaps are generated by analyzing the submission timestamps and engagement patterns of recent posts in each subreddit. We identify peak posting windows where posts historically receive the highest engagement. Growth rates are calculated by comparing subscriber snapshots over daily, weekly, and monthly intervals.

Subreddits are categorized into 14 topic categories using a keyword-based classification system. Only subreddits with 1,000 or more subscribers are included in our rankings to ensure statistically meaningful data.
